Wenzel Herold followed his older brother Joseph, who had emigrated in 1871. Wenzel married Josephine Kashik on February 3, 1886. Joseph and Veronica Kropacek Novak along with their four children arrived on the ship, Atlantic, in New York on September 26, 1866.
