Recently, I was asked to teach on the three specific judgments as outlined in the table of contents. I used Hebrews 9:27 as a starting point. “It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” According to the Bible, we all have two appointments we must keep. Death is not something we often stop and think about, and yet we all know one day we will die. We have no option, and we usually do not have a say in when or how it will occur. We started dying the day we were born and are steadily making our way toward that appointment. Our second appointment is one in which the choices we make in life will be the determining factor of which judgment we face. In that sense, we are deciding which judgment we choose to appear at. There are only two destinations: The Judgment Seat of Christ, or The Great White Throne Judgment. One is for the saint, the other for the sinner. The judgment seat we stand before will determine where we spend eternity. It will either be heaven or a lake of fire. It’s saddening to realize how many choose the latter over the former. Jesus came into this world to die for our sins. If we confess our sins and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, we can be saved. That will lead to Jesus saying, “Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into the joys of the Lord.” I don’t know about you, but I long to hear those words when my earthly life is completed. How about you? Are you ready to die? I pray this booklet will encourage you to make the right decision. Ronald
