A father tries to fulfil his own frustrated dream to become a missionary through his oldest child. His daughter, Wyn, grows up trying to resolve the conflict between her desire to please her father and the need to fulfil her own dreams. Her undiagnosed Bi-Polar Disorder adds stress to this conflict.
