Kurt Johnson resides in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where he works as a naturalist and photographer. Kurt has been fascinated by wildlife since he was a young boy and even claimed (at age 4) that his professional aspiration was to grow up to be a monkey. This has yet to be achieved, but along the way he has acquired a B.S. in Wildlife Biology from Northland College, Wisconsin, and an M.S. in Natural Resources from Utah State University. Like many wildlife enthusiasts, an abundance of experiences has provided relevant opportunities for non-traditional education. After working as graduate faculty for the Teton Science Schools, he began leading natural history programs in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem including wildlife safaris, photography safaris, nature hikes, Yellowstone excursions, and astronomy nights.
