He watches a child preparing to get on Santa's lap through a shop window and is reminded about a special Christmas memory. When the child gets down Santa makes eye contact with the man and they are immediately taken back to a moment they had shared (in his past). So the story unfolds as he stares through a window of time at a Glimpse from Christmas Past . . . The News of Delaware County "A Glimpse from Christmas Past" was featured in the News of Delaware County, Life section, on Thursday, December 19th!! You better get hot chocolate and gingerbread cookies ready; light the tree and hang the mistletoe by the doorway. Don't forget to play Jingle Bells on your iPod. Snuggle in your most comfortable onesies and a blanket by the fireplace and get the children ready to hear a delightful Christmas story. Wait! I forgot it's only August! A Glimpse from Christmas Past pulled me in the spirit of Christmas and reminded me of classics like A Christmas Carol or It's a Wonderful Life. Mariana Llanos, Author - Tristan Wolf Christine Corretti - reviewed A Glimpse From Christmas Past full of ambiance August 29, 2013This is so cute. It's cozy and fun, brings out the spirit of Christmas to a T. Read it by the fire or under the tree and it'll make great memories for you and your kids. Love the vintage city descriptions. Reminds me of old movies about XMAS. I wrote this story not only for children, but for children of all ages who like a good Christmas story. My hope is you find yourself pulled into the story line allowing you to share past memories and experiences from your childhood with your loved ones.  I feel no matter where you live in this ever growing small world my story can be enjoyed by all.  So whether read to your loved ones in a language shared it inspires you appreciate and cherish the hope to be found during the Christmas season. Merry Christmas! D. I can still remember reading my first rough draft to Charlie (9) and Kevin (8) then later to Sommer then (16). They were all very quiet while listening intently as I read the story line. When finished they all said the same thing..."Pop-Pop that was really good you should publish it".
