For the final thirteen years of his career, he served as both teacher and guide in an acclaimed middle-school program known as Adventure Education, a class celebrated for its introspective approach to learning and personal growth. His work there shaped hundreds of young minds and deepened his belief in the power of nature, resilience, and authentic human connection. He now lives on the Cape with his wife, Sherri.
