A Dark TTT is a time travel adventure from a different perspective, and also an alternative history adventure from a different perspective. A Jack in Time puts forth the premise that a well-known historical figure went back in time to create the events that made him famous. That he did not exist in the era of his notoriety but rather travelled there from a future time, spent some time in the past doing his deeds, then went back to where he came from, so as never to be heard from again. As the calendar unfolds, this individual will not be born for another fifty years; as the calendar has already unfolded, this individual is at least a century in the cemetery. It is the motivation to so such a thing that raises the most questions, which will for the most part all be answered in the story. The rest of the story... It is the summer of 2108. Technology has advanced beyond imagination; time travel and access to parallel worlds are no longer theory, but reality. These powers, however, remain tightly controlled, restricted from public use until proper safeguards are in place. The risk of misuse and abuse is far too great. Ironically, one of the very scientists responsible for these breakthroughs has already found the ultimate loophole. Meet Dr. Aberfeldy Barstow Blomenhauser, S.F.; Feldy to most of his colleagues, Blomy to one other. His is a brilliant mind hiding a deeply disturbed and predatory dark soul, and he’s discovered the perfect crime and the perfect hiding place. Not else where , but else when. Using the technology he helped create, Feldy timehops 220 years into the past, vanishing into the fog-choked streets of Victorian London. There, in a time without DNA, cameras, or computers, he unleashes a series of murders that will shock the world for centuries; crimes so horrific they will enter legend under another name: Jack the Ripper. With the blood of his final victim still on his hands and the dirt from the crime scene still on his boots, the law begins to close in. He simply timehops back to 2108, where his crimes are long buried in True-Crime magazines and History books, and his conscience is as cold as the scalpel blade he carried through time.
