In the summer of 1969, he endured Marine Corps boot camp. Finally, in 1970 he was in the sweltering jungles of South Vietnam trying to stay alive. From Viet-Nam he traded in his jungle boots for platform shoes. Instead of a jeeps, he rode around in Cadillacs wearing tailor made suits and diamond rings.
