Young Kate helps her grandmother make a Quilt of Valor (R). The quilt is for Kate's special friend, Mr. Mac. In presenting him with a quilt, she honors him for his service to his country during World War II. In the process, Kate discovers that like her grandmother, she has a "giving heart."
