This book contains technical exercises for the recorder and other wind instruments. Arpeggios, scales and trills in different forms and variations are carefully and systematically built up, in order to train the player to achieve finger dexterity, sonority, rhythm, breath control, tempo steadiness and many other aspects needed for a good execution of the music from the 17-18th century onwards. This should be a companion of the musician who wants to develop a solid technical base as a support for his musicianship, making it faster and easier to prepare new repertoire. In the Appendix, basic and fundamental hints for articulation and interpretation of the baroque music are summarized.
