The world had changed. Death was everywhere. Life may never be the same again. He just wanted to do something normal like fishing but when had fishing become so deadly? Five months after the life-changing apocalyptic event, Mark craved normal activities. Having battled militias, gangs, and psycho killers, he just wanted to do something that reminded him of the world of his past. What could be more relaxing and normal than a fishing trip? With his two kids, Mark settles in for a peaceful day of fishing on Lake Erie. However, the presence of a pirate navy controlling the waters alters their plans. A small armada of speedboats docks at the marina where they are fishing sending them into hiding. The ruthless invaders capture or kill everyone they find. While Mark's children, Bobby and Becca, go for help, Mark plots how to rescue the prisoners, but when they are transported to a freighter out on the lake, he loses his chance. The only way to save the victims is to somehow get on board the freighter but when he is discovered and captured he is sentenced to death. His only hope for survival rests on his children who are an hour away. With time running out Mark devises a desperate plan of escape but to save himself he loses the other prisoners.
