FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS on how to cure your handcrafted 1 gal oak barrel (5 liter) and start sampling aged whiskey after just a few days. If desired, add a Swish Barrel Essence Flavoring (not included) and in two weeks, your one-of-a-kind liquor blend will be aged to perfection and ready to serve straight from the tap. Pour into a liquor decanter to stop the aging process. How does it work?

To start, cure your wooden barrel, then pour your desired liquor or beverage into the cask along with or without a Swish Barrel Essence (not included) and then sit tight because in just two weeks time your one-of-a-kind blend will be aged to perfection and ready to serve straight from the tap.

Due to the higher surface area ratio of a mini barrel, spirits will age 8x to 10x faster than commercial size bourbon barrel, thus giving you a well aged taste in weeks rather than years. This accelerated ageing process is used in craft distilleries and breweries all throughout the world.
