It is a switcher for multiple audio players or amplifiers in a home audio system. Suitable for XLR equipment with L/R channels. It is a selector (1 in and 2 out), not a mixer, and cannot be output simultaneously (AB cannot be output simultaneously, only one channel can be selected for operation). It's a good idea to avoid plugging and unplugging audio cables and make your audio system more professional. Just turn the knob to select, easy to install. Pure switch box design, no power amplifier function, no volume control, no power circuit, does not affect sound quality. Net weight 865g, silver plated shielded cable, gold plated XLR connectors, CNC machined aluminium alloy shell, CNC machined solid metal knob, brushed shell process, strong and durable.

It is a selector for multiple audio players or amplifiers in a home audio system, the 1 in 2 out version is specially designed for customers who have multiple audio amplifiers. Suitable for L/R two channel devices. For example, CD players, DVD players, radios, decoders and other sound sources, as well as switching between power amplifiers and active speakers, and between pre- and post-amplifiers.

It is a selector (1 in and 2 out), 1 input, 2 outputs, not a mixer, and cannot output simultaneously (AB cannot be output simultaneously, only one channel can be selected for operation).

Connect the output cables from various home audio devices to the XLR connectors on our unit (located on the rear panel). Switching between different amplifiers is easily done by turning a knob on the front panel.

Audio format: Balanced analogue signal

Connection cable: Balanced audio cable (XLR audio cable)

This eliminates the hassle of repeatedly plugging and unplugging cables, prevents wear and tear on jack contacts, and makes it easier to compare audio equipment.

Notice:
●The speaker may make a "pop" sound when switching. This issue is not related to the switch. It is related to the DC potential difference between the front and rear of the switch. Whether it is pure DC coupling or capacitive isolation, as long as there is a potential difference, there will be a "pop" sound, and the size of the sound is proportional to the potential difference. Neither mechanical switches nor relay switches are immune. The relay closing time is short and the pulses are sharper. Carefully designed front and rear panels make switching noise inaudible. If you encounter this problem, you can set the amplifier tone to "0" or turn the amplifier off and then on again.

●Hot and cold end switching. The shielding layer is directly connected without switching and connected to the shell. It is suitable for use when all equipment is standardized.

●About ground loops: The ground wires of all the equipment that make up the entire audio system form one or more closed loops. The electromagnetic waves in space pass through the plane formed by this loop, and the ground wires will induce noise currents. If this happens If the specifications of your equipment are not good (usually the unbalanced balance circuit causes audio signal current in the shielding layer), then the noise current will superimpose the audio current to form noticeable noise. Reasons for the formation of ground loops: the shell is connected to a safety ground wire, the equipment shares a DC power supply, multiple preamplifiers share a signal source, multiple signal sources share a preamplifier, and multiple decoders share a digital source (CD player or digital broadcaster) digital output), multiple digital sources share a decoder (non-fiber), etc.; this allows the ground wires to have the opportunity to form a closed loop. Solution to the problem: First of all, do not use false balanced equipment. The so-called false balance means that the socket is balanced. In fact, the cold end may be short-circuited to ground. Use an active switcher. Isolators can be used for public performances, but audiophiles use isolators with caution! Analog Era The silicon steel sheet industry has ended long ago. Modern industry can no longer produce audiophile-grade audio amplifiers and can only buy old transformers.

How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
