1. The core of the I Code Slix chip is an RFID memory module compliant with the ISO 15693 standard
Password Protection Mechanism: 32-bit password protection enables individual authorization for the following operations:
◦ Memory read/write access control
◦ Privacy mode activation and deactivation
◦ Tag self-destruct function enablement
◦ EAS and AFI feature configuration
Privacy Mode: When activated via password, the tag responds only to specific commands, preventing unauthorized scanning
Tag Self-Destruct Function: Entering the correct password permanently disables the tag, suitable for one-time anti-counterfeiting scenarios (supported by SLIX2 and SLIX-S)
Memory Protection: Supports individual locking of user memory blocks to prevent accidental overwriting
Data Integrity: 16-bit CRC checksum and frame structure validation
Advanced Security Model (SLIX-S): Integrated 32-byte ECC unique signature for enhanced anti-counterfeiting and traceability

2. The I Code Slix key fob complies with the ISO 15693 standard, so the readers / writer must explicitly support this standard (some readers are compatible with both ISO 14443 and ISO 15693; parameters must be verified). Common readers compatible with I Code Slix keyfobs include: Pegoda Smart Card Reader (CLRD730), OMNIKEY 5321 CL, MIFARE Classic Reader (ACR122U Enhanced), multiCLASS RMP40, BIS M-4008, etc.
