About this photograph: This panorama, taken by Christopher Gjevre, spotlights the Los Angeles Kings as they claim the 2014 Stanley Cup in Game 5, with an exciting 3-2 victory over the New York Rangers. The Kings arrived at the 2014 Stanley Cup Final after surviving the Western Conference gauntlet and beating three of the top seven teams in the NHL. Making their first appearance in the Final in 1993, they are taking home their second Stanley Cup Championship in three seasons. On June 1, 2014, the Kings became the first NHL team to ever reach the Stanley Cup Final having played three consecutive seven-game series. They are also the first in Playoff history to win three straight games, in which they trailed by more than one goal.
