About Dry Polishing Pads
Dry polishing pads can be used on low speed grinders, it gives flexibility to avoid high cost tools like Wet Polishers.
Typically Wet polishing creates lot of liquid mess in work area. It is challenging to use wet polishing onsite or post-installation. Dry polishing is easy and quick way to polish stone etc.
It does create dust, use nasal protection during polishing. Typically grit 50-400 pads are used to start polish, and consumed more than higher grits diamond polishing pads. More rough initial surface is, more lower grits pads are needed.
Question 1: Can I use dry polishing pads for Wet Polishing
Answer 1: Of cource yes, dry polishing pads are designed for dry polishing to dissipate heat faster and keep the temperate of polishing surface low. This does not stop it from being used wet and typically it will have longer life when used for wet polishing.
Question 2: Can I use dry polishing pads on high speed grinder
Answer 2: No, you couldn't, Optimal RPM 2500 Max RPM 4000.
