Renewing your mind is a process where you allow God to bring to the surface the lies you have unknowingly accepted and replace them with the truth. The Bible makes it clear that the renewal of our minds depends on how we spend our time with God. As believers, we renew our minds by spending un- interrupted time with God in prayer and His Word. When you keep your mind on Christ, Satan has very little room to maneuver within. There are two steps to renewing the mind. In the first step, you’ll need to remove the old one, and the second step is to replace it with the new mind. The old is behavior that you have learned from your surroundings that have become a part of your thinking but do not reflect the truth. We have to replace the worldly way of thinking with the truth God has set before us. As you do your part, God will fulfill His. Walking by faith and not by sight, accord- ing to 2Corinthians 5: 7, means to live by believing and not by seeing
