It ranges in firing color from a soft white to a light gray color. This smooth, white throwing body is easy to use and accepts a wide range of glazes and underglazes. With an optimum percentage of clays and raw materials to achieve a silky soft white (no iron spots) clay, BMX can be fired between Cone 5 to Cone 7 but is achieves best results when fired at Cone 6.
