Being able to get the content in this book approved for publication was not only a happy moment, but also opens up the gates to produce what will be a series of books of this nature in other various music genres and eras, of which I would like it to be two books a year, Spring and Fall releases. Research is the most time-consuming element with this assembly of material, as well as decision-making with what to keep in and what to leave out. The rest is fairly quick to the finish line. Looking forward to designing this series of Music Puzzlers for you over the next several years. Cheers !  KB INTRODUCTION For some time now I've been creating these music word search puzzles for fun. I just thought they were more intriguing to play as a search game when looking at a discography of an artist or band's song titles that stretch over a career. It gets one thinking about the music we all love and grew up with, even to the point of inspiring one to go back, re-visit and enjoy once again. What I try to do, with regards to song selection for this series, is to create or weave a story through the journey of music based on the artists and bands that I've chosen to be in each book, and how they connect. These books are like historical music libraries. An archived document of an era. I do full-on meticulous deep research covering all albums of a band or artist's music, choosing song titles in a selected combination of hits, singles, rarities, deep cuts, bonus tracks, and even a song they may have had on the soundtrack of a movie. I've also added in classic double albums, album classics, classic live albums, band/artist collections, along with a new big bonus section in split puzzle format, and a special mention band, all for added enjoyment. Something for everyone. With this overall 80's collection, I've assembled a mixture of bands and artists from various popular music genres of that era. This book has also been expanded with 60 more pages than the previous three books in the series. Therefore, this will be a one-off book, with no book 2 or 3 etc. What I've designed with this music series of puzzles is what I call "Super Challengers", where they're larger in grid size on average, looking up multiple-word song titles with a challenge level of medium to high. Word placement is utilized in all directions - left to right/right to left, top to bottom/bottom to top, bottom left angled to top right and reverse, and top left angled to bottom right and reverse. There are ways to find every word in any given puzzle without relying or leaning on solution pages, of which the majority of time are looked at very little anyway. You just have to be clever about it when it comes to visually scanning a letter grid. From a mental health perspective, word search puzzles are sometimes used to help improve cognitive brain function for many people who have unfortunately suffered setbacks from strokes, as doctors give patients these types of puzzles to assist in gaining back their mental strength. These game books are great for passenger travel by train, bus, plane, an RV on the road to pass the time during a long journey, or just hanging out in your favorite haunts and diners.
