Through her father’s side of the family, she is related to the Welsh poet W. H. Davies, author of Autobiography of a Supertramp, which was first published in 1908. Reprints of this book are sold on Amazon. Her mother, Leona Anna Rasmussen Phillips, published the novel ‘Twixt Wind and Water. Her sister, Jill Meta Phillips, published three novels: The Rain Maiden, Walford’s Oak, and The Fate Weaver. Ms. Phillips has published both fiction and nonfiction. She attended Citrus College in Glendora, CA, where she later taught English for a few years. She received her BA in Creative Writing and World Literature from Pitzer College in Claremont. She earned her MA in English Literature, focusing on Gothic Literature, from Claremont Graduate University in Claremont, CA. This is her first collection of published short stories. Ms. Phillips lives in Southern California with her husband and cats.
