It’s true – since 1930 we’ve planted our coffee 4,900 ft. above sea level in the highest altitude farms in Brazil, where semi-humid temperatures and seasonal cycles prolong bean development, imbuing our Arabica coffee beans with more complex sugars that yield deeper, more compelling flavors.
But our quest to create premier Brazilian specialty coffee hasn’t stopped there. Four generations later, Above Coffee has expanded to strategic farm locations across four different regions, allowing us to capture all possible terroir of the Mantiqueira de Minas Gerais region of Brazil: the largest global exporter producing some of the world’s finest coffee beans.
