Six gifted teens. A deadly secret. Humanity's last hope. On their sixteenth birthdays, six strangers wake to find themselves… changed. By the end of the day, each has unlocked an extraordinary power—abilities bound to their fears, insecurities, or dreams. But a deadly virus is sweeping New York City, trapping its victims in their own bodies with blood-red eyes and no escape. As the outbreak spreads, Erin, Brodie, Kyla, Blade, Medina, and Noah must find each other, master their powers, and uncover why they were chosen—before the world runs out of time. Thank you for taking the time to explore my debut novel, Accidental Evolution: Viral—the first installment in a planned trilogy. This story has been years in the making. I spent four years developing the concept and details, building on an idea that's lived in my mind since I was young. I've always been fascinated by stories of people developing special abilities—but I often found myself wondering why they had those specific powers. Could their abilities be a reflection of who they are—their insecurities, personalities, or dreams? That question has always intrigued me, especially when people are asked, "If you could have any superpower, what would it be?" The answers often reveal more about the person than they might expect. Writing Viral was a deeply enjoyable experience. It serves as an origin story for my six main characters—Erin, Brodie, Kyla, Blade, Medina, and Noah. Each of them brings something unique to the story, and I worked hard to capture their struggles, strengths, and personal growth in a way that feels authentic and connected. The second book in the series is nearly complete. I truly believe both my writing and the story have evolved—I can't wait to share the next chapter. It's bigger, bolder, and packed with even more action, emotion, and development. Thank you again for adding my book to your shelf. If you do read it, I'd love to hear your thoughts through the feedback section of your chosen platform.
