After surviving the sixth-deadliest tornado in Tennessee’s history, which claimed nineteen lives from her community, author Lauren Farmer lost nearly everything. She has her bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Florida and her doctorate in physical therapy, obtained from the University of St. Augustine in 2015. After a rewarding career as a physical therapist, she has stepped out of her comfort zone to become also an author, motivator, and public speaker with a passion for spreading hope to help others recover from their own tragedies and difficult times.
