The Sermon on the Mount gives us an amazing vision of what life with God looks like. It shows us the heartbeat of the King and what the culture of His Kingdom is like. It pronounces good news of blessing and, at the same time, levels our pride. It reveals to us where the truly good life is found as it turns the value system of the world upside down. It invites us in and calls us higher, to live with love and justice, wholeness and peace, abundance and generosity, humility and goodness. It beckons us to live as if Heaven has arrived, because in Jesus it has. Many people think of saints as super Christians who have a special relationship to God that is unattainable. But the Bible calls every believer in Jesus a saint and a citizen of God's Kingdom. In "All Saints," we explore Jesus' Sermon on the Mount not as a distant ideal or future hope, but as a present reality for those who belong to Christ. It's a call to live now — as saints, as citizens of the Kingdom, as people who know the King and are shaped by His amazing grace.
