Some of the most popular activities in Hawaii include surfing, snorkeling, hiking, whale watching, and experiencing luaus. Explore the beautiful beaches, taking scenic drives, and engage in cultural activities that showcase the rich heritage of the islands. Each island offers unique experiences, from the volcanic landscapes of the Big Island to the stunning waterfalls of Maui. Dedicated to Presleigh and Rawlings, two more of my grandchildren, this coloring book celebrates their adventures exploring the Hawaiian Islands. Let your creativity shine as you bring to life the adventures and discoveries that make the Hawaiian Islands so magical. Here are a few of the many amazing things Presleigh and Rawlings have seen and done. Rainbow Bridge Gift Shop: The Rainbow Bridge Gift Shop is a fun place to find awesome Hawaiian souvenirs. It’s owned by a nice family, The Manolo family, who always make you feel welcome. You can find lots of cool stuff there, like t-shirts, hats, and toys. Jurassic Park Kualoa Ranch: Imagine exploring the places where they filmed the Jurassic Park movies! You can see the same spots where the dinosaurs were in the movies. It's like being in a real-life Jurassic Park adventure! Pearl Harbor: Learn about a significant event in American history and visit memorials and historic sites. There are awesome things to see, like old ships and planes from World War II. You can explore a battleship, climb aboard a submarine, and even see planes that flew in the war. Kona's Magical Manta Ray Night Snorkel: Watch manta rays swim under the water at sunset. You can go on a boat trip to see them feeding and even snorkel with them! It’s a really cool experience. Atlantis Submarine from Kona Beach: Imagine going on a submarine adventure in Hawaii! You can see all kinds of cool sea creatures and colorful reefs without getting wet. It's like a fun underwater trip! Parasailing is like flying a kite! You can see amazing views of the ocean from way up high. It's a fun activity for the whole family. You'll have a blast! Maui Ocean Center: Imagine swimming with whales underwater! At the Ocean Center's Sphere, you can experience that without getting wet. It's like being in a big, round movie theater, but instead of watching a movie, you're watching real whales swimming around you. Nii'hau is a special island in Hawaii. It's called "The Forbidden Island" because not many people can visit. The people who live there get around by horses and bicycles. They don't have cars, running water, or telephones. Instead, they use solar power to get electricity. It's a very different place from most other islands. Hawaiian monk seals: You can sometimes see the seals swimming in the water around the island of Ni'ihau. These seals are endangered because people have been bothering them and they get caught in fishing nets. Grand Hyatt hotel with a parrot show! You can watch the parrots talk and do tricks. It’s really cool! The hotel is also on a beautiful beach with soft, white sand. Kayak Secret Falls: Imagine paddling a small boat down a river. It's like being a real-life explorer! You'll see the island from a whole new view, and you might even see some cool animals swimming in the water. It's a fun way to get some exercise and enjoy the fresh air. Pickleball Poipu Kai Club: Pickleball is like a mix of tennis, badminton, and ping pong. It's a fun game that people of all ages can play. Even little kids can learn to play! Spearfishing – Anini Beach: A great place to go spearfishing, especially if you’re just starting out. The water is calm, so it’s easier to see the fish and catch them. It’s a perfect spot to learn how to spearfish!
