The collection is masterfully painted in Northcott's popular alcohol ink technique in classic red, white and blue. The panel features a magnificent eagle in flight set against the Star-Spangled Banner. The full-width ombre transitions from blue to red creating multiple creative opportunities. The lyrics of the Star-Spangled Banner are subtly intermingled with the textured waves of color in the ombre.
