How did the world’s only superpower end up with an emotionally disturbed president—one who is turning the country into a bankrupt, totalitarian, hyper-military state? Let us not believe for a minute once Donald J. Trump is out of the White House, things will be simply fine—they won’t. Where did this madness come from? In American Heart of Darkness, Volume I, Bob tracked how racism, genocide, and militarism became institutionalized throughout U.S. history. From Jamestown to the JFK assassination, the country has consistently denied this fact. In Vol. II, he picks up the trail of these three malevolent factors from the 1960s assassinations to the present. Bob conducted massive research to uncover why the JFK assassination investigation is still classified, along with those of Malcolm X, Dr. King, and RFK. Four great leaders gunned down in five years, and no real answers? Two events blew the top off these questions. First, counterintelligence operative Robert T. Crowley retired and turned over his files to researchers before his death. He exposed who killed these men, how, and why. Next, JFK’s secretary, Evelyn Lincoln, died. Among her possessions was JFK’s Cartier gold watch which was on his left wrist in Dallas. The watch had specks of mercury on it that could not have come from Lee H. Oswald. These two events exposed treason in the highest places in government. The perpetrators took over the country and have created havoc ever since. The dark, hidden realities of Jonestown, the HIV/AIDS epidemic, the Iran-Contra scandal, using narcotics to mass-incarcerate minorities, and the never-ending wars, have resulted in a country that has lived past its own myth. Americans are taking notice and taking action! American Heart of Darkness, Vol. II gives the why and what for Americans need, right now, for action! Reviewed by Vincent Dublado for Readers' Favorite Review Rating: 5 Stars Robert Kirkconnell carries a broadsword. In Volume II of American Heart of Darkness: Macro Social Evil in the Post JFK Era, he gives us an exclusive, in-depth look at the political assassinations of John F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, and Robert F. Kennedy, and he doesn't stop there. This book has no sacred cows as he rolls out an exposé on the People's Temple and what makes Reverend Jim Jones the anti-Christ. He equally sheds light on what the government conceals about HIV, narcotics, incarceration, and the war on terrorism. This book is an unequivocal warning to the American populace that a pathocracy in the higher echelons of the political system is pulling the strings and the dangers their actions will bring if we do not stop them. The investigations contained herein are so explosive that it will make you re-evaluate how you look at the foundations of the system that is supposed to protect you. Can you handle the truth? You are welcome to accept these exposés or throw them out altogether. But then, what Mr. Kirkconnell is saying is worth considering. It takes courage to face some of these revelations, and maybe your life will turn out for the better if you join the crusade for political change. American Heart of Darkness should not be read as a bashing of America. Hating is reactionary and reflexive. This book hopes to renew America as a force of good by inciting readers to think and look at America with a critical eye. It is an eye-opener and it hopes that we shun how the system has conditioned us to think. Review by Viga Boland for Readers' Favorite Review Rating: 5 Stars After reading American Heart of Darkness: Volume II by Robert Kirkconnell, I'm not sure I will ever again be able to put any faith in what I hear and/or read in the news. In fact, for the first time, I find myself thinking "fake news" but not quite along the lines that Mr. Trump uses that term: his focus on fake news is how it applies to him. But in relation to American Heart of Darkness, fake news is what governments and those at the top of key organizations like the CIA, FBI, etc., have fed to the media for decades to cover up the realities of major events, like the assassinations of US leaders, the deaths of 900 mostly black people at the hands of Jim Jones in Guyana, the never-ending war on drugs, the ever-increasing racial tensions and so much more. What an eye-opening read! Kirkconnell points out, and studies have proved it true, that most of us will go against our moral belief systems when those in power demand it, especially if it lines greedy pockets with megabucks. We don't want to believe that of those we elect into power; we want to believe most of us are good, honorable. To help us keep believing that, the government is never going to allow the truth to come out about "...political assassinations, Vietnam, the drug trade, 9/11 and all the rest." So instead, the powers that be feed the media "fake news". It's so much more comforting to look at everything through rose-colored glasses. No wonder, despite numerous investigations, we still
