Author’s Note By Pastor Sandra Platt When I first began writing Anchored by Grace , my heart was burdened by the weight of what I saw happening in the Church. So many sincere believers were being tossed to and fro by teachings that sounded spiritual but lacked truth. I wanted to remind God’s people that His grace is more than enough to sustain, protect, and guide us, even in confusing and challenging times. This book is not written from a place of theory but from lived experience. Like many, I have faced trials, disappointments, and moments where deception tried to creep in. Yet at every turn, I discovered that the grace of God never failed me. His grace steadied me when my footing felt uncertain and gave me strength to rise again when I was weary. It is my prayer that you, too, will find that same sustaining power as you turn these pages. Each chapter is a call to vigilance and a reminder of God’s faithfulness. We cannot afford to ignore the dangers of false prophecy, manipulation, and half-truths that seek to destroy ministries and confuse believers. But we are not without defense. Anchored in grace, armed with truth, and guided by the Spirit, we can discern deception, stand firm in faith, and walk in victory. I offer this work as both encouragement and warning. May it serve as a companion in your journey of faith, a reminder to stay grounded in Christ, and an inspiration to finish strong. My deepest hope is that this book will anchor your soul in grace, strengthen your discernment, and remind you of the unshakable truth that God’s Word will always prevail.
