Over the past 3 years, I have been compiling the knowledge and skills needed to express a turmoil within myself; what will we be when we’re gone? Will we be forgotten by an uncaring cosmos? Will we fight to the last breath, scarring its stars and planets with our technology? Will we replace our species with something greater, a better iteration of Man that we could ever be? These questions remain unanswered, though I have created art that explores them, in the vain hope that I may begin to understand the possibilities of our fate. Each piece was created as part of a long running marathon of creating at least one piece of art a day for 2 and a half years, and some were made after. Mankind was but a machination created in the factory of the cosmos, invented by the essence of her stars, given form through evolution. They were built with minds meant to understand the world which created them, though they invented their own means to conquer it, to outlast the idea that they are but soft, short-lived creatures, armed only with their consciousnesses, subject to rot.
