This badge is 3/4 inch in height and 2 5/8 inch in width, consisting of the shield of the coast of arms of the United States on and over a pair of displayed wings. An individual must have satisfactorily completed the prescribed training and proficiency test, and must have been designated as an aviator in orders issued by the appropriate headquarters as outlined in AR 600-105.
