This book is about arranging flowers for home, for others, and most especially for the church, using any kinds of available flowers around. They could be some flowers from your garden, wild flowers, and even weeds gathered around the neighborhood. Leaves, twigs, grasses, branches, etc. are used as fillers to make attractive flower arrangements to decorate homes, for gifts, and for decorating the church. Arranging flowers become my ministry as well as other people in our church. Fresh flowers of all kinds are used in our church. Most of the flowers came from people in our church who have gardens. On special occasions such as Easter and Christmas, our church ordered potted flowers from the nursery. We arranged them attractively in their own containers. Most of the time, we make do of whatever kinds of flowers that we have available. At times, we use dried flowers in the fall most especially at Halloween and Thanksgiving. At home, I use silk flowers to decorate our house. Silk flowers are good decorations in the house. They are cheaper than the fresh flowers. Silk flowers last longer and can be moved around easily. Gardening for home and for the church are my reasons for learning how to grow flowers. My goal is to contribute flowers to our church in order to save our parish some money from buying flowers. One nice floral design can be around fifty dollars and up. And also, I would like to beautify the inside and outside of my house with flowers. In this book I show case some of the flora designs I have arranged during the past years. Included were some of the steps that I followed in order to make attractive flower arrangements with some important notes to remember.
