For the new readers to my writing, thanks for your faith and welcome aboard. I promise one thing, you will not be bored turning the pages of 'As The Crow Dies'. As an avid reader myself, nothing is worse than picking up a new book and two chapters in all you know is a character's name and eye color. Things, good and bad, happen to my characters adding a sense of 'what's coming around the corner' in the next chapter throughout. 'As The Crow Dies' is a sequel to my last book (Love of My Death) with several of the same characters playing a vital role in carrying the book to a new level in New Orleans. Captain Chris Dale, Homicide Detective, searches for answers to a series of murders where the victims have their eyes removed. Those answers go well beyond a killer's perverted self interest to a much larger conspiracy. That conspiracy challenges Captain Dale to the point of no return in his self worth both on a personal and professional level. Eva West, a decorated writer of serial killer books, is approached by the FBI to place her new book release on a website the FBI monitors. It's an attempt by the FBI to attract the interest of killers that solicit Eva West through the website. It's a wildly successful tool that reins in the baddest of the bad. The website however, turns Eva's world upside down with that success. Death becomes up close and personal for Eva West and her family. Lieutenant Bobby Rabold is a longstanding partner with Captain Dale and becomes a hero in the law community when he chases down a cop killer on a Harley. That hero status is short-lived when professional hitmen target Rabold in retaliation. Finally, I got my start writing books in the movie business having sold or optioned eleven screenplays in the '80's and '90's. One of the books turned movie I have always admired was Michael Crichton's 'Jurassic Park'. That book led to a dinosaur franchise continuing thirty plus years later. For the first time, that book took a reader on a realistic ride bringing instinct dinosaurs to life as a byproduct to a believable science. 'As The Crow Dies' takes the reader down a believable path of dinosaurs and Alien Humanoids coming to life.

How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
