PURE: The Swedish Pure Raw Linseed Oil is made traditionally from cold pressed flax seeds. The oil is stored for 6 months in order to achieve the purest form. The raw linseed oil is used as a binding agent in linseed oil paint, to nourish and rejuvenate wood, used as a component in glazing putty, used on metal to prevent rust and much more! Both raw and boiled linseed oil can be stored indefinitely. EASY TO USE: Use the Raw Purified Linseed oil right out of the jug! Apply fairly warm and in thin coats, thinner than you even think! Linseed oil can be applied with a soft rag or brush. Apply too much? Wipe any excess with a cloth to prevent tackiness. After your project is finished, easy cleanup can be done using linseed oil soap. VERSATILE: Use this Purified Swedish Raw Linseed Oil as a base treatment before painting with linseed oil paint. Apply Raw Linseed Oil to nourish wood shingles, wood siding, wood decks, porches, wooden boats, undercoating for cars etc. Use on metal to prevent rust in spaces such as the undercoating of cars. You can also store your paint brushes in the oil! PAINT REMOVAL: Apply Pure Raw Linseed Oil to old paint prior to heating with Speedheater IR Paint Removal System. This will soften the paint layers and reduce paint dust created by scraping. It is recommended to apply raw linseed oil at least 24 hours before paint removal.
