From the BMC Toys CLASSIC TOY SOLDIERS COLLECTOR SERIES, the AMERICAN CIVIL WAR ARTILLERY set includes 3 cannon with black barrels, ash-brown chassis, charcoal-gray wheels and features smooth rolling metal axles. Each cannon has 3 different barrel options and ramrod and worm that stow on the chassis. Barrels include 12 pound, 24 pound, and 3 inch rifled ordnance options. Barrels are made from stiff ABS plastic and chassis and wheels are made from soft plastic. Each cannon measures 2.2 inches tall x 2.75 inches wide x 5 inches long and are approximately 1:32 scale.

These cannon were initially offered to hobby collectors by Classic Toy Soldiers Company in the 1990s and are designed to be compatible with Louis Marx & Company Blue & Gray Battle Sets of the 1950s, 1960s & 1970s. Classic Toy Soldiers Co. worked with BMC Toys to make these miniatures available to today's youngsters. BMC Toys was founded by Bill McMaster in 1991 and specializes in producing historically accurate plastic army men figures and playsets in the classic realistic style of the 1950s and 1960s.
