The book shows how the World of Islam consisted of a framework that supported a sacred way of life that was in complete harmony with the creation, and this way of life was the perfection of mīzān . The framework supporting this way of life was universal, covering and connecting the civilizations and cultures of Afro-Eurasia. The only way this framework could be destroyed was if an external force breached the mīzān . What happened when the mīzān was breached is the subject of this book.
