Many keepers don’t have the time to provide a comparable diet of the dubia roaches natural habit. As a result many keepers rely on premixed chows available on the marketplace. Unfortunately many of these chows do not provide correct ratios or ingredients to maintain a healthy dubia roach colony. Almost all the chows available today are made from cheap animal-by-products with protein levels above 16% and causes uric acid build up which is deadly in dubia roaches and not healthy for reptiles.
