They have three adult daughters and two grandchildren.  Chaplain Brad has a masters degree from USC, is an ordained minister, and has a  certification in Critical Incident Stress Management.  His new book, Badge to Badge, is an autobiographical daily devotional that uses his experiences as a police officer, athlete, father and pastor, and relates them to the comfort that can be found in God's word, the Bible.
