For the press tour following the record-breaking release of Greta Gerwig’s award-winning, acclaimed Barbie movie, producer and star Margot Robbie and her stylist Andrew Mukamal immersed themselves in some of Barbie’s most iconic outfits and curated vintage pieces, then approached designers, from Giorgio Armani to Donatella Versace, to create looks inspired by the doll-size originals. Many of these looks were not seen as the official Barbie press tour was cut short—so Margot and Andrew worked with renowned fashion photographer Craig McDean to shoot her in the looks exactly as they were curated: Schiaparelli in Los Angeles, Vivienne Westwood in London, vintage Chanel with matching Steamline luggage at the airport, and beyond.   Accompanying McDean’s sumptuous photography are original Barbie dolls from the period, a treasure trove of rare materials from Mattel’s Barbie fashion archives, and the designers’ sketches and Polaroids from fittings, layered into evocative collages by Fabien Baron, who conceived and produced the shoots and art-directed the book. With text by Margot Robbie and Andrew Mukamal, as well as handwritten contributions from the designers behind the looks (from Olivier Rousteing and Michelle Ochs to Manolo Blahnik and Jeremy Scott), this unique book blends the serious chic of high fashion with the serious fun of Barbie world—the dolls, the history, and the style that have captured imaginations for 65 years. "Last year, all things Barbie, including “Barbiecore” style, took over the pop culture zeitgeist. As Margot Robbie attended events for the movie press tour, she stunned in classic Barbie style, wearing world-renowned designers such as Schiaparelli, Vivienne Westwood, and Chanel. In Barbie: The World Tour, her most iconic looks are photographed, and additional context accompanies the photos including photos of various Barbies, designer sketches, and polaroids from fittings." — Better Homes & Gardens "They were the looks seen round the world: Margot Robbie in a mini black-and-white Hervé Léger bandage dress, cat-eye sunglasses across her face; Robbie in a fuchsia pencil skirt and matching blazer, a crystal-bedecked Judith Leiber cell-phone clutch in tow; Robbie wearing a ruffle-hem Emilio Pucci dress, long crimped hair cascading down her back. Each look, styled by Andrew Mukamal for the Barbie press tour, defined modern method dressing. Now the internet-breaking fashions are being immortalized in Barbie: The World Tour , a coffee-table book by Mukamal and Robbie, out March 19 from Rizzoli." — Vogue "We’re living in the age of “Barbie,” and nowhere has that been more evident than the custom fashions Margot Robbie and stylist Andrew Mukamal curated for the billion-dollar grossing movie’s press tour." — Variety "Margot Robbie's Barbie press tour may be over, but it lives on forever in the pages of this new coffee table book. It highlights the iconic collaboration between Robbie and her stylist Andrew Mukamal, who worked painstakingly on the red-carpet looks that will go down in fashion history. The book also includes never-before-seen outfits that didn't see the light of day because of the SAG strike." — Who What Wear "This 165-page coffee table book is a great gift for a loved one who enjoys fashion and Barbie. Pages filled with amazing costume looks. This is the perfect addition to your book collection. " — Wright Fashions "Published by Rizzoli, the coffee table book decodes each stop, each look, and how it was materialized. From a designer hunt to even matching the tiny gold hoops, Ms. Robbie and Mr. Mukamal remember their inspirations, their trials, and their eventual joy. If you are a fashion addict, then this book should certainly be in your library." — LUXURYFACTS "...a new illustrated book capturing all the glamour and high style of the most popular doll in the world is a hit as much as the movie. Think of it as an extended version of the film with its lush fashion and dreamy photography, shall we?" — Curated Texan "The most coveted gift of the season is, without a doubt, the new Barbie: The World Tour coffee table book from Rizzoli. This book is a culmination of everything a fashionista and Barbiecore fanatic could ever dream of, as it’s filled with never-before-seen intimate images of Barbie star and producer Margot Robbie’s stunning high fashion outfits from Valentino, Balmain, and Miu Miu, oh my!" — HEARST DIGITAL  "Pulling inspiration from archive dolls, they aced the assignment indeed. From a black-and-white striped Hervé Legér bandage dress with white cat-eye sunglasses (a spitting image of the original 1959 Barbie) worn in Sydney and “Day to Night” 1985 Barbie-inspired looks by Versace in Seoul, to the pink polka dot Valentino mini dress (inspired by a 2015 “Pink & Fabulous” Barbie) and the sparkling Schiaparelli tulle-hemmed black gown fro
