Beta Alanine is an amino acid which is synthesized in the liver and is commonly found in animal foods such as beef and chicken. Beta Alanine combines with histidine within skeletal muscle tissue to form carnosine, and it is the limiting factor in synthesis of carnosine in muscle tissue.
