Blessed Journey is the autobiography of a boy from a small Southern town born just prior to World War II. It is the story of his life and times, including schooling, military service as an Army paratrooper/lawyer in Vietnam, his years as an attorney, State Senator, businessman, husband, and father. The book highlights the many unique and impressive people who influenced his life. It speaks to the fragility of life, the randomness of tragedy, the risk and reward of failure, the exhilaration of achievement and the challenge to persevere in the face of difficulty.
