This is a funny, touching and triumphant picture book about a cockapoo named Bombo who worries little of what others think, whilst staying true to himself, having fun.... and rolling in poo! From the Back Cover Bombo was a small black dog, Like no dog you've ever seen, His hair was curled and fluffy, And his legs gangly and lean. Being different never fazed Bombo. Rolling in poo is what he loves to do and everyone knows that dogs love to roll in poo... or do they? About the Author Being a poet at heart and writing most days, Chelsea decided to create her very first children's picture book during the first Coronavirus lockdown in the UK. Chelsea grew up inspired by the works of Roald Dahl and being a huge fan of Dahl's poem 'The Pig', a cautionary tale of a pig who contemplates his place in the world, she couldn't help but wonder how her dog, Bombo's, perception of the world may also differ from her own. From her house in Windsor, England, and with Bombo as added inspiration, she set about crafting Bombo's story, to share with children around the world. It teaches acceptance and understanding of those who are different, and explores deeper themes of perception, and how, when influenced heavily by our own experiences and upbringing, the same event can be viewed in many unique ways.
