Pienso que en 2013 se inició un antes y un después con el Trombón Contrabajo gracias a la aparición del libro. El Trombón Contrabajo cada vez tiene mejor aceptación y respeto entre el público con nuevas composiciones, excelentes intérpretes y también con la publicación de nuevos libros para aprender a tocarlo correctamente. Joannes Rochut ha sido una de las más grandes contribuciones a la literatura del trombón en particular y de los instrumentos de viento - metal en general. Pero... una adaptación al Trombón Contrabajo, ¿la tenemos?. No realmente. En este libro he querido contribuir sobre todo en el desarrollo musical, profundizando en las grandes posibilidades del Trombón Contrabajo. He escogido los estudios que en mi opinión mejor se adaptan a la tesitura y características del instrumento. No es un libro en el que tengamos que buscar las mejores posiciones de los dos sistemas existentes y mayoritarios a día de hoy (Alemán-Americano), para eso vienen nuevos libros específicos por mi parte. Este libro está escrito para profesionales, amateurs y también para los que todavía solo tocan el Trombón Bajo, para acercarse en la medida de lo posible al miembro más grande de la familia del Trombón. Este libro pertenece a la mi nueva colección a la que seguirán más libros dedicados al Trombón Contrabajo. Mi propósito es contribuir al desarrollo del Trombón Contrabajo y de esta manera, seguir con lo que empecé en 2013 dentro de “El Mundo del Trombón Contrabajo" Disfruta tocando estos estudios que he escogido de manera especial.
