This book describes a vivid and touching story that happened between Elsa, a wild lion, and the author. On the African primitive wasteland, for an unexpected mistaken killing, three young lions, which lost their mother, entered Joy Adamsons life. Right on the wasteland, Joy fed them up carefully and named them according to their different characteristics. The youngest is called Elsa. When they gradually grew up, Joy sent two of them to the Holland zoo and Elsa stayed with him because the weakest in the lion group can not survive in many cases. Since then Elsa became a part of Joys life, and they ate, lived, played and walked in thorns on the primitive wasteland and in the forest on the high mountains. They also played for funs in the spindrifts of the ocean. They developed a deep relationship.
