Doc Vince can't imagine who would be sending him threatening notes as he pulls the third one he's received this month from his mailbox. As the only medical doctor in the small town of Hooper, he's a respected citizen of the community, and is unable to think of one person that would do this. Because his good friend and Scrabble partner is mentioned in the notes, he asks Ginny Phillips for help to get to the bottom of it. Will they be shocked when the culprit is identified? Will meaningful relationships endure or crumble? DeLila Lumbardy chose the Sandhills of Nebraska, where she grew up, as the setting for the Sandhills Saga Series. She is able to devote more time to her passion of writing now that she has retired from a successful nursing career. Her first published article appeared in RN Magazine over thirty years ago. In addition to writing books, she continues to write short stories for various publications and has been published in the Chicken Soup books.
