Jacqueline Strayer Jacqueline Strayer is a communication, marketing and leadership expert, consultant, educator, and cultural enthusiast. She served as an elected officer of three global publicly traded Fortune 500 companies overseeing marketing and communications in diverse industries. She is a faculty member at New York University and Columbia University and is faculty lead for the NYU Stern School of Business Social Impact Fellows Program. Notably, she created the first communication and training program to address sexual harassment in the workplace in the United States. She writes about contemporary issues and their relationship to leadership, marketing, and the public relations practice. Throughout her career she has had both a personal and professional focus on social impact and its intersection with business and society. Among the numerous awards she has received include the Points of Light award from General Colin Powell for her work in Corporate Social Responsibility and twice received the “Best in Class” award from U.S. Secretary of Education Richard Riley for her leadership in improving education in marginalized communities. She was selected as a civilian participant for the Joint Civilian Orientation Conference, a nonpartisan program that is the oldest and most prestigious public liaison program of the Department of Defense and the United States Department of State selected her for the Fulbright Specialist program. She holds an MPS from the Tisch School of the Arts, Graduate Division of Film and Television, New York University, a BA from the University of Connecticut in economics and political science and has completed all coursework towards a doctorate in organizational leadership. She completed additional coursework at the London School of Economics while she worked as a research associate for Sir Marcus Fox, MP (Yorkshire). She has spent her life traveling the world and advancing the arts, serving on the boards of film festivals, public television, radio stations, arthouse theatres and the performing arts and is a Board member at the Ensemble Studio Theatre, an award winning Off-Broadway Theatre. Committed to human rights, she was a founding member of Operation Respect, an anti-bullying organization formed by Peter Yarrow of the celebrated folk group, Peter, Paul and Mary and works globally with social entrepreneurs advising them on communication and marketing strategies. She has interviewed thousands of people on film, on farms and in factories, from the mailroom to the boardroom along with Heads of State, Presidential Medal of Freedom recipients, Nobel Laureates, Pulitzer, Tony, Olivier, Golden Globe, Emmy and Oscar awardees and Hall of Famers. She has published dozens of articles on a wide array of topics. Her first book, BrandYOUtation: At the Nexus of Brand, Individuality, and Reputation , published in July 2025 will be performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the largest arts festival in the world, in August 2025. She launched her second podcast People in THIS Moment® in 2024. She created the Global Brand Convergence® in 2022, along with her trademarked narrative, The 90-Second You®. She believes everyone has a great story to tell.
