Follow the lives and loves of a Southern wedding planner and some of her fun-lovingbut meddlesomecousins in this contemporary romance series. Set in the fictional, quintessential southern city of Bonneterre, Louisiana, the Brides of Bonneterre series is filled with fun, food, familyand lots of romance! Although each of the three volumes deals with serious themes such as forgiveness and fear, the tone is lighthearted and humorous, with plenty of southern charm, wit, and wisdom mixed in. This book contains all three novels in the series. "Stand-In Groom, Menu For Romance, A Case For Love". I have to say that I am a huge fan of Kaye's books and I cannot wait to see if there are anymore books set in Bonneterre. This book is over 1000 pages and it kept me highly entertained and devouring pages like a favorite piece of cheesecake! I cannot say enough good things about this Trilogy. I absolutely loved it and am eagerly anticipating reading more books by Kaye! She has a way of drawing you into whatever story she is reading and before you know it you are halfway through without putting the book down! Thumbs up, Kaye! (Jenny Booher Book Reviews by Jenny 2011-12-31) Kaye Dacus’s debut fiction is compiled into one delightful volume. Set in Louisiana, three novels chronicle the journey of career-driven thirtysomethings who have nearly given up hope of finding love. The wedding planner, the event coordinator, and the lawyer each find romance in the most surprising ways. Stand-In Groom When wedding planner Anne Hawthorne meets George Laurence, she thinks she's found the man of her dreams. But when he turns out to be a client, her "dream" quickly turns into a nightmare. Will Anne risk her heart and career on this engaging Englishman? George came to Louisiana to plan his employer's wedding and pose as the groom. But how can he feign affection for a supposed fiancee when he's so achingly attracted to the wedding planner? And what will happen when Anne discovers his role has been Stand-In Groom only? Will she ever trust George again? Can God help these two find a happy ending? Menu for Romance After eight years of unrequited love, Meredith Guidry decides it's time to move on, to try to find someone who'll love her in return. So she makes a prayerful New Year's resolution to meet someone new and end her single status by year's end. And when the handsome contractor she hires to finish remodeling her house asks her out, it looks like her prayer may have been answered. But dating the handsome contractor doesn't seem to do anything to lessen Meredith's feelings toward a certain chef she works with every day. Executive Chef Major O'Hara has foresworn relationships, knowing he could never saddle the woman he loves with a family situation like his. When he's offered the opportunity of a lifetime--to open his own restaurant--he must weigh his family responsibilities and feelings for Meredith with the desire to move forward in his career. Should he leave his comfortable job--and Meredith--for this once in a lifetime chance? And can he create a menu for romance to win Meredith back before he loses her forever? Will God serve up a solution before it's too late? A Case for Love The Alaine Delacroix that all of Bonneterre knows is the carefully polished image she puts forth every day on her noontime news-magazine program. When her parents' home and small business is threatened by the biggest corporation in town, Alaine is forced to choose between her image and fighting for the life her family has built. Lawyer Forbes Guidry is used to making things go his way. But when he's asked to take on a pro bono case for a colleague, he'll learn that he can't control everything--including his feelings for his new client: Alaine Delacroix. Alaine's only option to help her family is hiring Forbes, but can she bring herself to trust the handsome, disarmingly charming lawyer? And will Forbes Guidry be able to make a case for love before losing his job and family? Can both trust that God will present a solution before it's too late? Humor, Hope, and Happily Ever Afters!
