After their improbable victory at Fort Za, the compass once again points to Dyyros as Ulcinar becomes the main target. However, when Divi is afflicted with a deadly condition, Levus and Tasi must collect a plant known to stall the ailment’s progress, one that requires a trip to the past to retrieve it. Not only must they battle those preventing them from reaching it, but also each other and their strong feelings for Divi. Waiting for them to return, Eraddor and Thamalos deal with keeping the peace between select Cordcan forces and the Salban residents, all while an unknown evil approaches the encampment. Meanwhile, at the human kingdom of Rudann, Cerrapies and Lascedis prepare for an army they were told didn’t exist, only to learn there are more dangers right in front of their eyes. Brinks in Time: Shrouds of Darkness continues the story of Divi and Levus. Getting closer to their destination, they find the challenges growing as they battle the demons within as well as those that hide shrouded in the darkness.
