How to replace a traction cable:

Step1: Make sure the engine is turned off and remove traction cable and cover

Step2: Hook the spring onto the deck, align thecable and snap it in place. Then reposition the cover

Step3: Insert the new traction cable in the brake cable support

Step4: Attach the z-bend to the control bail arm

Step5: Slide the support onto the bolt and correctly position the cable, then tighten the nut to secure

Step6: Reconnect the spark plug wire and start the lawn mower
