Life is changing for two brothers growing up in the years of pre-Great War Colorado of 1914. They are part of an unconventional family: both parents and an older sister are US Marshals, while another slightly older sister is a lawyer and member of the Colorado House of Representatives. Most men of the era would regard them as hopelessly progressive regarding women’s rights. To the brothers it is just a normal part of life as they and their sisters share ranch tasks and duties on an equal basis. The entire Storm family... parents, sisters and brothers, are united by the family credo: Duty, Honor, Country. The skills the brothers have learned are honed by their background and when the United States enters the war, both answer the call to join the forces fighting the Axis Powers. Glen W. Christen is an Air Force veteran and a fan of history and its effects on current events and the future. The major international events of the twentieth century had their roots in the conflicts and jealousies of the 19th century, and have extended into the 21st. Among his favorite genre are histories of people and events surrounding World War II. Brothers Storm, the third book of the Storm trilogy, is set before and during World War I, the opening act of the later conflict. The author grew up in the Alps of northeast Iowa but has lived in Marshalltown, Iowa, for many years.

How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
