This is a grey tone edition: Long before the Norman Conquest, England was invaded by many basic tribal units that splintered into sub-groups known by various names. One group of invaders was the De Bruni or Brunig tribe whose descendants to this day have retained some form of the name. The various offshoots of the name can be spelled many different ways, but by removing any vowels and using a well-established phonetic system along with consonants brn, brng, brnr, or brnn one may determine who might have evolved from the Brunig tribe. This story is about many of the descendants of this tribe and is based on written accounts of where, when, and how they lived in England from about 450 AD to about 1700 AD. The story includes pictures of the places where they lived and in some cases the structures where they lived or worshiped.
